OCA grows again. With the award of the works for the construction of a pedestrian crossing under the AVE in the Rafael Cano square in Valladolid, its portfolio of projects now exceeds 68 million euros. The project that OCA will develop in the Castilian-Leonese capital has a budget of 1.75 million euros and will respond to a neighborhood demand to promote mobility and improve the environment of Rafael Cano Square.
The company won this award in a contest in which 19 companies participated. The OCA offer improved the amount of the tender by 32.3%. The term of execution of the works is of 9 months.
With this new contract, OCA consolidates its return to growth. After successfully resolving the creditors’ contest in which he entered the harshest years of the economic crisis and the construction sector, OCA is developing projects in the autonomous communities of Galicia, Castilla-León, Extremadura and Madrid, where the company has one of its two corporate headquarters – the other is in Ourense-.
The projects with which OCA starts in 2018 are linked to the different lines of business of the company: from the construction of buildings and industrial buildings, to the execution of large public infrastructures or the supply of aggregates for the construction or maintenance of vials. With the award of the Rafael Cano plaza in Valladolid, OCA once again develops projects related to the implementation of the high-speed train in Spain. The Ourense firm had already been linked to AVE works in communities such as Murcia and Extremadura.
Among the main projects that OCA is currently executing is the development of two projects of protected housing in the community of Madrid and an industrial building in Getafe.
